Protein-Packed Baked Chicken Cacciatore Recipe

                                <li>1 lb skinless chicken breast, cut in bite-size chunks</li>
                                            <li>1 cup  chopped onion</li>
                                            <li>4 cloves garlic, minced</li>
                                            <li>2 cups  canned crushed tomatoes</li>
                                            <li>1 tsp oregano</li>
                                            <li>1 tsp basil</li>
                                            <li>2 cups  tomato purée</li>
                                            <li> Salt and pepper to taste</li>
                            </ul>

    <h2 class="block-title"><span>Directions</span></h2>

                            <li>Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper and place in a lightly oiled baking pan. Bake for 30 minutes.</li>
                                    <li>Remove pan from oven, add onion and garlic, then stir to combine. Bake 15 minutes more.</li>
                                    <li>Remove pan from oven and mix in canned crushed tomatoes, oregano and basil, then turn chicken pieces. Cover with tomato purée and return pan to oven. Bake an additional 30 minutes or until chicken is tender.</li>
