Eat nuts to fight off obesity
Researchers at Louisiana State University in the United States found that people who eat nuts are 1.9 kilograms lighter than those who do not eat nuts.
The body mass index is 0.9 lower and the waist circumference is 2.1 cm smaller.
In this study, scholars defined non-nut eaters as those who eat no more than 7 grams of nuts per day,
And those who ate nuts had higher levels of HDL in their blood and were less likely to develop chronic diseases, such as heart disease.
